In my garden there is a large place
for sentiment.  My garden of flowers is
also my garden of thoughts and dreams.
The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers,
and the dreams are as beautiful.

My Gracious Father,
I come to You trembling, tears of guilt
staining my cheeks once again.
I'm not sure exactly what I expect as
I approach You, but I know that nothing
could be worse than this separation
I've felt between us lately.  And to think,
I chose to be where I am...
wandering on my own, rather than
enjoying the privilege of being in
Your presence.
I guess I thought I could handle life
by myself for a while, and by doing so,
avoid the guilt that inevitably accompanies
my disobedience.  But lately I've even been
missing that aching inside that warns me
that all is not right.  I long for the security of
Your guidance and, more than anything, the
joy of knowing that pleasing You requires
only the free and complete surrender of
my perfect love.
So here I am, Father, holding out to You
all of my love, the blessings You've
entrusted to me, and my imperfections.
I lay them at your feet.  But instead of
reaching to take them, You hold Your arms
wide open and reach for me instead.
You welcome me, just as a father welcomes
the scolded child who, with teary eyes,
holds out arms longing for the hug that
assures,
"You're accepted, and I love you still."
Amen
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my
expectation [is] from him.

He only [is] my rock and my salvation:
[he is] my defence; I shall not be moved.

In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock
of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.

Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour out your
heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. Selah.

Welcome to our garden of love,
hope & salvation.
I hope you will visit my garden often
and spend time with God
while you are here.
Each gate will take you to a place
of healing and tranquility.

While you are here,
please plant a seed of faith for renewal.
Water each plant with prayer and hope.
Watch each wilted plant as it is reborn,
renewed, and restored.
Witness as each plant bears the fruits of
the Spirit with God's precious promise.
Welcome others with opened arms and
remember, you are never alone.
